6 Days Katavi And Mahale

Morning after breakfast pick clients from the place of staying in Arusha or Dar es Salaam at 8:00am and drive to the Airport ready for your charter flight to Katavi National Park. Arrival picked up and drives to the lodge for the hot lunch. After a short rest, proceed with game viewing till sunset. Katavi National Park it’s famous for localized Eland, Sable, roan Antelopes, Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffe, Zebra, Impala and Reedbuck. Dinner and overnight stay at Katuma Bush Lodge.

Morning after breakfast with an armed ranger, start walking safari along the park. Katavi is a true wilderness park. Back to the lodge for hot lunch. After a short rest, proceed with game viewing within the park through Katuma River and associated floodplains such as the seasonal Lakes Katavi and Chada where you can see as many hippos gathering in one place. Dinner and overnight stay at Katuma Bush Lodge.

Early morning after breakfast, sunrise game viewing in the park. Visit the tamarind tree inhabited by the spirit of the legendary hunter “Katab”, back to the lodge for the hot lunch and resting, late evening, start a sunset walking safari with an armed ranger. Morning after breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip with packed lunch boxes ready for your charter flight to Mahale Mountain National Park. Arrival picked up and drive to the lodge. Late afternoon, start a chimpanzee tracking. Dinner and overnight stay at Kungwe Beach Wildlife Lodge.

Morning after breakfast, chimpanzee tracking tour start through the rain forest. Hot lunch at the Lodge and after a short rest, start a boat safari for bird watching and game viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at Kungwe Beach Wildlife Lodge.

Morning after breakfast, with picnic lunch boxes relax at the beach while waiting a transfer boat at 12:00 noon, ready for transfer back to the airstrip for catching your charter flight back to Dar es Salaam or Arusha city at 5:30pm.
